In 2021 and 2022 I led a team of designers in the full rebrand of H2O.ai
The rebrand was soup to nuts. We addressed everything from the logo and typographical system to the color palette (our ceo wanted to keep the black and high vibrancy yellow legacy of the previous look and feel) , iconographic systems, illustration and video style (we removed stock photography). We worked in tandem with Marketings PMM team working on voice and tone to ensure we were creating content led design.
The brand redesign also extended to the website, where we created a digital design system based on the new brand and worked with a CX and AEM engineering team.
Creative Direction, Design strategy
First we addressed the logo, fonts, color palette, iconographic systems, the we created a new illustration design system to replace stock photography (which was not supporting our AI products well). We then extended the Brand design to Product logos, and program theme designs.
We then applied the new brand look and feel to assets supporting 12+ organizations across H2O.ai.
And finally we created branded self service tools (to ensure our small team was not a bottleneck) and created high touch customer facing assets to support leadership and sales.
